We've been there several times but we allways go to see the most famous places over again, every time we visit. Usually I don't bring my camera when we go places without our son. I'm I had it with me this time.

Came home from a week at work in Oslo, last night. I spendt the weekend in Skien, and teached a Valentine Card class in store at Papir i hjertet yesterday. I'll teach another Valentine Card class this upcoming weekend in Molde, at the Crop at Rivalhuset. Made this card late October last year, and it was published in the December issue of the norwegian magazine "Ett Trykk". I gave this card to my friend Mo9ca.

Christmas Friend Card (DT Papir i hjertet)

I spent a month at Røros just before christmas last year, and I teached a card class for some girls that contacted me trought my blog. Using Papirdesign papers, I designed this card couple of days before I teached the class. Didn't do much scrapbooking while beeing there, but I sat down at least three or four evenings and created some cards and a layout. This card is also uploaded to the Papir i hjertet December gallery.

This weekend I've been creative again! Feels so good. Everything I've created, and all the beautiful creations of the other designteam members, are all uploaded to the Papir i hjertet January gallery. Remember to stop by to have a look!

New Volcom outfit (DT Papir i hjertet)

Made this layout some time ago, but still have'nt published it in my blog. You'll find it in the Papir i hjertet December gallery. Annette, a friend of mine in Arizona helped me get some Volcom clothes from Tillys.com earlier last year. Had to shoot some pics of my son in his new outfit. Cool or what?

Focusing on training most of my sparetime now a days, but want to make some room for scrapbooking and cardmaking aswell. I'll be teaching two Valentine card classes in February. The first one will be in-store in Skien, at Papir i hjertet 7th of February, and the second at the Crop event in Molde on the 13th. If you want to sign up, let me know by emailing me here.

First of all; Happy New Year every single one of you out there!

I've had two fantastic weeks at home, christmas holidays! My scrapbook room is as tidy as it can get, so now I'm inspired to create scrapbook pages and cards!!

This page under I made for the November gallery over at Papir i hjertet. Pic shows my great friend Julie and my little son, Vetle - together in Spain last summer.

Heading to Oslo this upcoming weekend, taking my son with me this time. Visiting grandma, family and friends during the weekend. Next week I'll be working from the EDB office in Nydalen, while my little boy stays at grandma. We're heading back home next saturday.

Hope to do some scrapbooking this week! I may even publish some :)

Beautiful Christmas Card made by a 12 year old!

Today I found this fantastic christmas card in my mailbox, made by a 12 year old girl, Eli Janne, that just started scrapbooking and cardmaking. I sent her some of my old scrapbook stuff last month, and look what she created for me in return!!! This little girl is a reader of my blog, so if you like it, please leave a comment for her!

I had my fist official spinn class tonight. So now I've become an instructor! Next class is December 27th! Have some tasks left to do before christmas night, but everything is in progress, so I'm defenetly not freaked out!

Busted in 90 mph (DT Papir i hjertet)

My dear friend Mona took this fun pictures of me on the highway in Nevada, on our way from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon. We got pulled over by highway patrole, the speeding limit was 60... but the officer told me I had the speed of 90 mph while passing him. So, what else to do than smile and hope for the best? The funny thing about this episode is that my friend Mona got pulled over couple of hours later, in Arizona - while trying to get to Grand Canyon by sunset. As a result of that, we had to stay and see the sunrise insted.. and she even got a speeding ticket aswell! Hurray!

This afternoon my little cracker and I have baked a batch of gingerbread shapes. He decorated them all by his self, and even the house. Here are some pictures from today.

I created this Christmas Memories Album for a Bind It All class October this year. The album is uploaded to the Papir i hjertet November gallery where you can also find my supplies list. Papers used are all from Papirdesign. All the white painting is gesso, one of my favourite products!

I'm working in Molde this last week before christmas hollidays. Starting to get excited! Soon I'm off to the post office to ship presents for family on the east side of Norway.

Talking about beeing somebody... I've announced earlier that one of my goals for 2010, is to race "The great trial of strength" riding my performance bike 540 km from Trondheim to Oslo! But I'm not hitting the road all by myself. By now we're a team of 6, and this picture under shows two of my fellow team mates after a spinning class last week. We have started training and getting fit.

Here's another chritsmast card I've made using last years christmas photo of my little loved one. It's uploaded to the Papir i hjertet November gallery. I'm about to upload some news to the December gallery, so remember to stop by!

Today I've created this years christmas card in photoshop using a picture we took at Røros couple of weekends ago, when my boys visited me there.

Ispired by the christmas card, I also had to make a new banner for my blog. This is how it turned out.

Last night I got back home after a month at Røros. It's been a great month, lots of training and healthy food, and even a little bit of sience. I got to celebrate my 30th birthday together with my new friends there, and this time I had my camera with so I took a bunch of pictures!

You can se the huge church of Røros, from all over Bergstaden.

Getting ready for one of my first bikerides with studded tires. It was fun. So I did another 7 or 8 rides in really cold weather.

Olavsgruva is a famous mine at Røros. We did a guided tour there.

We also had lunch out several times, on our trips. This time homebaked hotdog!

Roald, a fit guy from Trondheim (btw twice my age), and I walked home from the fantastic daytrip that we had.

My boys visited me for a weekend during my stay at Røros. We did a lot of fun things together.

We got to se the christmas three lightning just beside Bergstaden Hotel in the center of Røros.

I turned 30 years old during the stay. So I had to celebrate.. with a small glas of wine...

.... and some cake! Look what a cake I got from my new friends at Røros, together with several presents. They even did the Happy Birthday song to me three times that day!

I also got some presents from home! I just have to show you these mittens, gifts from some of my great friends; the lime ones are from Mo9ca, made by her - thank you soooooo much!! I love them!!! And she even sendt a pair for my little boy aswell. The purple ones are from Randi, also home made! I now have three pairs made by her. It was such a surprise when you gave them to me, Randi. Thank you so much!

Here I'm getting ready for a spinning class. Notice the little bandage in my forehead. Well - during cross country skiing I fell, landed on my head, and had to stitch... so it's not longer just Harry Potter that has a lighning scar in his forehead!

Currently at winter wonderland Røros, attending the research project I've told you about several times now. This last week I got testet again, V02 max test. *Improving still* And according to the scale for people my age, I now have a high level of maximal oxygen consumption!

Happy Birthday My Dear Little Boy!!!

My proud little boy turns 5 today. We've had parties, and celebrated this weekend, but he got his present from us today. Here's the card I created for him. Lego, both for Nintendo DS games, but also for playing around with, is what's most important what comes to toys these days. So I had to find a lego racers pic online for the card. Papers used are from Bo Bunny.

Here's the Cars chocolate cake that he wanted me to make for his birthday party. He had 10 friends from daycare over at friday. Saturday we celebrated with family and friends.

Everyday Prince Dream Card (Happy Fathers Day)

Today it's Fathers Day here in Norway, therefor I congratulate every single father in this country by showing off this Prince Dream Card I created last night. Happy Fathers Day!

We've celebrated our son this weekend. He turns 5 this upcoming week. It has been great weekend for him. But today it's all about Fathers Day, and the Soccer Cup Finals (Norwegian Championship) Molde plays Aalesund at Ullevaal Stadium. May the best team win!

Today at 0900 am I was in line to get a ticket to ride Birkebeinerrittet 2010. 41 sec later the race was fully booked!! I'm thrilled I got a reservation for a ticket in time. Tomorrow is my last day at work for allmost 5 weeks! Heading back to Røros and the research project next week. Staying there a month(!) But first some time off, to celebrate my dear little 5 year old this weekend.

Papirfest 2009 (Stavanger)

I've had a the most awsome weekend in Sandes/Stavanger this weekend, staying at my friend Mo9cas house, and attending Papirfest 2009. Since I didn't bring my camera this time, I've stolen some pictures from Ania, Oddbjørg and Marie for showoff. But first of all: thank you so much for letting me and Fatima, stay at your house Mo9ca! I miss you <3

Monday October 5th I'll teach a "Bind It All Mini Album Class" at Inspirerende Hobby in Molde. Here's a sneak peak of what we'll make during the hours monday evening. We're using the latest Papirdesign christmas collection to make "My christmas memories" album.

Working on a couple more Papirdesign projects. I'll publish them in the Papir i hjertet October gallery once I'm done! Next week, after my minialbum class monday, I leave for Oslo again. Off to work at EDBs office in Nydalen for the rest of the week. And then - the week after - heading to visit Mo9ca and attend the Papirfest in Stavanger. I can't wait!!

Sometimes I feel on top of the world... and I had one of these moments while visiting Grand Canyon earlier this year. I went out on a shelf, it was more than a 100 meters straigth down behind me, which made Mona kind of anxious... but she managed to shoot this cool photo of me. Same picture as in my blogbanner! The Great Trial of Strength 2010 (DT Papir i hjertet)

One of my goals for 2010 is to ride Trondheim - Oslo, on my performance roadbike attending "The Great Trial of Strength", a norwegian 540 km long distance single-stage race! Scrapbooking this goal is my way to make sure the manifestation occur in its own perfect way. I can see it in my mind - entering the finish line area in Oslo, after allmost 20 hours on my bike. Picture shows me before a 54 km ride this summer. The longest ride I had this summer was approx 160 km, riding from Røros to Trondheim. Need keep up the good work to reach my goal! Last night I was asked if I want to become a spinning instructor where I take spin classes twice a week. So why not? I can do it! Ofcourse! So I need to look up great indoor cycling music. Strong sales at StempelScrap convention last weekend turned out as a new sales record for Papir i hjertet, so check out the BlogCandy celebration in our blog! Last night my colleagues at work and I went to see Molde play soccer against Vålrenga in the cup semifinals at Aker Stadium. Molde made it to the finals, after extra-time victory 6-3, an extremely exciting match. Today Aafk plays Odd. The winner reach the cup finals at Ullevål, November 8th, and will play against Molde. But first thing first - this sunday Molde plays Rosenborg in the national league. I'll be there!

After allmost a week at work in Oslo, I'm finally back home more inspired than in a looooooooong time, to scrapbook. Spent the weekend in Lillestrøm attending the StempelScrap convention, at the Papir i hjertet booth. Had a fantastic weekend! Line at the Papirdesign booth gave me their new Christmas collection to work with, and since Mo9ca haven't got them yet - I need to design with them tonight - so stay tuned *laugh* Today it's 23 days till I leave for Stavanger, and Papirfest 2009. Just signed up for Oddbjørgs class, "Mens vi venter" - E x c i t e d!

Here is a little something I've uploaded to the July galleri over at Papir i hjertet. Actually I made this for a Shabby Chic layout class held in Kongsberg several months ago. Picture shows me as a little girl, with one parrot on the top of my head and one in my arm, on one of many many trips to Gran Canaria during my childhood.

Since my latest blogpost I haven't been scrapbooking at all. Over two months, can you believe that? The week after I blogged the last time I did have my friend Julie visiting from Drammen, during the Molde International Jazz Festival. We went to see couple concerts, and had a great time. Another week after, I left home for one month(!), to attend the research project I've told you about, at Røros. Can't wait to go back there in November! Friends, watch out; I'm getting fit! Came home three weeks ago, and then went straight to Cardiff and London for a 5 day vacation. Saw U2 live at the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff. It was out of this world - no doubt the best concert I've ever been to! Ever! Fantastic stage, great selection of old and new songs, brilliant performance. This kind of describe that I haven't been much home this summer. But while beeing home, I've been working out, a lot! The performance is improving for sure.

Summer office hours at work end today, so summer is now official over. Time to get back to scrapbooking! I'll catch up by attending the StempelScrap Convention in Lillestrøm this upcoming weekend (18th-19th of Sept). If you plan to visit, you'll find me at the Papir i hjertet booth. Please stop by to say hi. I would very much appreciate that! I leave for Oslo first thing tuesday, working at EDBs office in Nydalen the rest of this week. I haven't been scrapbooking or cardmaking at home since like forever, but I've been to a couple of crops this month, and made some new layouts and even a card! You Make Me Feel (DT Papir i hjertet)

I've been thinking about updating my blog for to long now. Enough thinking :)

This layout means a lot to me. Shows my best friend and I - right in the middle of the Mojave dessert, on our way from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon this January. I think about our fantastic trip every day! This layout was one of my contributions to the Papir i hjertet gallery of April. You'll find my supplies list over there.

For the last two weeks I've been attending the research project that I've told about, at Røros. Got home couple of days ago. Felt like beeing on a training camp. I've been to many of those during my time as a soccer player, so I know what I'm talking about. Can't wait to see all of my new friends again in July. Heading back to Røros for a month next time, definitly in better shape than this time!

My brother and nephew both had their birthday last month, and I made each one of them a birthday card. Never made a single card for neither one of them - about time!

Found my old soccer boots in my closet some days ago, and have been out playing soccer with my little soccerstar all day, after work. I admit - I've missed playing ball!!! So now I'll play with my 4 year old. Guess I can keep up with him still.

Tonight I decided to make a new banner for my blog! I love this picture of me, taken by my bestfriend and travelmate, on top of the Grand Canyons. What do you think? My only comment is "Photoshop is back in the house" - so yes, I'm happy :-)

Finally after a lot of travelling lately, I have some lazy easter days at home with my boys in front of me. Last night I got my new PC set up. Even Photoshop is up running again, can't believe I've survied without for so long.

Been busy working my *** off the for the last weeks, haven't scrapbooked in allmost two weeks. So now I'm waiting for Mi@ to pick me up. We're attending Crop Night at the opposite side of town tonight. A perfect start on easter hollidays.

Inspire: Green Card For A Friend

This is the first green card that I made. I like this better, but compared to the sketch I just couldn't compete with this. But I didn't make it for nothing - it's allready on it's way to a friend :)

Today we're flying to Oslo, my little boy and I. His little trolley has some of his cars, his Nindendo DS and some games, inside, so he's all set and ready to go. Keep's talking about grandma and how much he miss her and love her, all the time. And that he wants to go right away. My mission is to work in Oslo while he's spending some time with my mum. This little vacation will be great for both grandma and Vetle.

Made this green card for Card-O-Mania round 4 at Scrapping.no. This was my second green card actually. Made one first, but it turned out nothing like the sketch, so I made this in a hurry, just in time for the deadline. And I made it to the finals, but finished in 4th place. One vote from 3rd place.

This friday my little pistol and I are flying to Oslo to go se my family. We're both excited.

Two of my layouts was published in the latest issue of the norwegian scrapbook magazine "Vi Scrapper". Both of them with pictures from last winter. This first one shows my son on a sunny winterday on the northwest coast, and the second one shows my boys out on icy Sognsvann last easter.

I spent the weekend in Oslo, at the Scraporama Convention on Hellerudsletta, at the Papir i hjertet booth together with Hilde, Therese and my best friend Mona. It was nice talking to all the known, well known and unknown fellow scrapbookers that visited us during the weekend. My friend Monica picked me up at work friday, and together we went to the customs declaration at Alnabru, to meet Moni and pick up a shipment. Thank you so much both of you. Attended the Minneriket Crop, thanks to Kristin, both friday and saturday - and stayed at her house together with 5 dear scrapbooking friends - Oddbjørg, Hanna, Trude Julie, Monica x 2. Thank you so much for your kindness Kristin having all of at your house! Finally, after allmost a year, I met my friend Mo9ca again. I had a fabulous time together with you this weekend. Hope to see you again soon girl! I also have to thank Hanna for saving my *** during my class saturday. So thankful for that! And Anne Kristine - thank you so much for helping me out during the class aswell. You´re the best!

Vintage Shabby Chic Card Class Sample

Held two classes for the last couple of days, one in Ålesund at Familieminner, and one in Molde at Ispirerende Hobby. Here is the class sample that we used. Image on this one was transfered from a laser print copy to aquarell paper by using Multi-Medium from Ranger. It looked like very student really enjoyed the class ;)

Flying to Oslo tonight. Working there the rest of this week. Wednesday going out for dinner with my collegues, and then Fatima and I'll have a fantastic experience in concert with Bo Kaspers Orkester. Upcoming classes

During the next couple of weeks and even month I'm teaching some classes. This saturday, tomorrow, at Familieminner in Ålesund, and monday at Inspirerende Hobby in Molde. Both classes are card classes where we focus on transfer technique. Next weekend at Scraporama in Oslo I'm teaching a vintage wallhanging class saturday, and a card class focusing on transfer tequniche at sunday.

April 4th teaching couple of classes in store over at Papir i hjertet. For more information take a look here. Mid april attending a crop in Kongsberg and teaching three classes. You'll find all the information over at the Kokos blog.

Been to Kiev all week working. Currently at Borispol airport in Ukraine, catching a flight to Riga, and from there via Oslo home to Molde. Can't wait to see my boys again, even though I've had a fantastic week here.

Light Jar (DT Papir i hjertet)

The January challenge for Hjertelaget was to alter a glass jar - and turn it into a cute light jar. You can see all off the fantastic jars in this gallery, over at Papir i hjertet.

Found an old strawberrygel jar in my kitchen, and started on this winter light jar. Really feel that I caught the winter spirit while making this one. We've had a lack of snow in this area, but now it's snow all over, and I love it! The winter is so beautiful on the west coast - when it's snowy!

I have forgot to thank for every award that I've got during the last couple of months. Have'nt had the time to pass them forward, but I want to thank you all for thinking of me and my blog when you pass on your awards. I'll try to update soon!

In the mean time I want to share some of the DT layouts I made for the January gallery over at Papir i hjertet.

This layout, with my picture on it, was for a challenge. Had to scrapbook five of my strenghtness. It turned out pretty, I think :)

This one over shows my son and his cousin, at Christmas eve, over at their grandma. The cutest boys!

The pictures on the last one is from last winter, when we visited my oldest brother and his family at their cottage up in the Veggli Mountains.

First of all - thank you to everyone leaving a comment in my blog during my vacation in the US.

I promised to keep you posted, but folks, we had too much fun, and we did'nt stay much online, so updating this blog was'nt among my preferenced activities.

My best friend, Mona and I, had a super fantastic trip. The first week on a cruise in the Caribbien, attending the Ultimate Scrapbooking Cruise. Faboulus. Even though American Airlines lost our luggage, did'nt deliver it untill we got back from the cruise, and some difficulties because of that, we had a fun trip. Travelling with Mona is such a pleasure, she's easy, just like me.

From Miami we went by plane to Los Angeles, rented a SUV and drove all the way to Las Vegas.

Stayed at the luxury Luxor Hotel for a couple of days. This is probably the worst luxus hotel you can stay at in Las Vegas. So people: "Please do'nt stay at Luxor"

Beeing in Las Vegas, was like attending a hybrid movie. Well known statues on every corner. Huge hotels, and neon lights all over.

We walked around in the city, and allmost forgot to speak to eachother all day. Things to look at everywhere.

Caecars Palace is known to both of us, from movies. We walked around inside for several hours. It was gambling, shopping, resturrants, shows - everything inside!

In the evening we visited The Mirage, to see Cirque de Soleie play Love, from the Beatles. I don't have words. It was out of this world!! Worth every penny!

Small chapel's ALL OVER downtown Las Vegas. Everywhere! We actually considered getting married just for fun *lol* Just kidding!

We drove from Las Vegas, over the famous Hoover Dam, crossed the Mojave dessert, and got pulled over by AZ Highway Patrule twice, once each.

As a result of that we got one warning and a speeding ticket, before we got to Grand Canyon. It was to fun driving on the famous route 66.

Stayed up at South Rim of Grand Canyon for two nights. Watched both Sunset and Sunrise.

We even had a helicopter flight of 50 minutes over the Canyons. Mona was in front assisting the pilot *lol*.

Visited some small towns, Williams, Needels, Bakersfield on our way from the Canyons to San Francisco. In Williams we found this old fashion 50's café, among other things.

Allmost ran out of gas a couple of times during the drive from the Cayons to San Francisco.

We looked up a nigthclub in our Lonely Planet travel guide, and ended up in Bakersfield, Trout's Nightclub. We stayed all night. What a party - we even got to dance with cowboys, and talk with Buck Owens grandson.

I got my first-time-ever ride in a Hummer the day after, thanks to Rockwell, the owner of the nightclub.

He took us to Crystal Palace, Buck Owens place.

It was raining in San Francisco when we got there. We had a ride uphills with the famous car trolleys and did some shopping.

At the evening we went to AMC theaters to see The Wrestler.

After a night in San Francisco we drove south to Santa Cruz, did the tivoli beach Boardwalk and visited the Mystery Spot, where balls roll uphills, chairs sit on walls and we leaned over so far we didn't see our shoes. Funny experience!

From Santa Cruz we drove to the famous Gayle's Bakery, and stocked up cookies and cakes for the rest of the trip, allmost!

Then we entered the northern end of Big Sur, and witness the changing in weather during our drive. Fantastic nature, almost like Lofoten, except not as wild and exotic as the norwegian westcoast.

We reached Anaheim, and CHA after 7 days on the road. Maybe I'll write about our days at CHA later in the Papir i hjertet blog :) And next year we are going back. Visiting our new friends in Phoenix, Annette and Earleen. And ofcourse we'll have to go back to Trout's, in Bakersfield, to party!

Thank you Mona for every moment of this trip - from the very bottom of my heart, I love you my friend! Can't wait to go with you again next year :)

My Charm - Made Up By The Total (DT Papir i hjertet)

Tonight is the night *lol* My flight for Oslo Gardermoen leaves this evening. Spending the night at Thon Hotel Gardermoen. Thanks a bunch to Kjersti!! At this time tomorrow moring Mona and I'll be on our way to Maimi. Guess I'll be listening to my iPod, playing PSP, reading my newest book ("Fettet sitter mellom ørene") - doing all sorts of pastime activities.

Can someone please pinch my arm? 3 weeks over there...

Crop, Class, Crusie and Tutourial (Papir i hjertet)

The first ever crop over at the new Papir i hjertet storehouse in Skien, was held last weekend. What a time we had!!

The crop room is so gorgeous. We had challenges, played bingo, did some shopping and a couple of Round Robin's. It was great. I even got to scrapbook a couple of pages myself. First day of 2009 today, showing off a couple of my latest 2008 layouts. Both are contributions to the Papir i hjertet Decemember gallery.

Pictures on the layout over shows Oddbjørgs little daugther. Got them during PACS in Versailles last year, and made this layout for her :)

My little one playing around "Atlanterhaveien" last summer. Papers used are the Skull Boi series from Kaisercraft.

This card was for a colleague. She lost her father earlier this month. But the reason why I share this card today is because of the terrible Israeli airstrikes against Gaza. Hundreds of innocent civilians are dead. This is my sympathy for the sorrow of a Palestinian friend of mine. I also made a card for him last night - you can find it over at the Papir i hjertet Card gallery.

At last I want to share this norwegian poem, and ask of you to light a candle tonight for my friend, his family, friends and the entire Palestinian people. There is allways a flame of HOPE in every sorrow!

Multi-medium Card Class (Pih; Jan 2nd 2009)

I'm completely in love with Rangers multi-medium. For those of you not familiar with this medium, it is an art quality gel used for gluing, sealing, creating glazes, extending - and for what I've done for the last month; image transfer. Used laser printed photos on regular copypaper, trasfered to plain cardstock or even wathercolor paper. The result is so vintage and nice.

This over was a gift to my friend Mona, the last time I visited her. You'll find my supply list over at the Papir i hjertet Godt Gallery.

My "mother in law" is the only one in our family that did'nt get a decorated matchbox before christmas, so I made this one for her before our christmas dinner at her house last night. Paper used on this is from Melissa Frances Christmas series.

Today we'll have guest over at our house for christmas dinner. So back to the kitchen now *lol*

Took my little one to town, to find a spot for Christmas-Photo-Shoot late November. Went up on a roof (!), and since he put up his best smil, it was over in couple of minutes. Is'nt he just too sweet, dressed up for the occasion?

Up early this Sunday, to scrapbook, make cards and have fun! You should have some fun yourself :) Tuesday my son and I go by plane to Oslo. He'll stay at my mothers house, while I'm at work in Oslo. I'm getting used to travelling - now it's less than a month till my friend Mona and I leave for Florida, Caribbien, California and so on... Got to collect all our information, tickets and booking references and organize it soon.

Here's a box I've made for christmas cards. Inside it's a chipboard foldout, and I'm supposed to decorate it with our three past christmas card pictures, adding this years aswell. Next year I'll extend it, and so on... Great for show off every christmas :)

Picture shows Kristin's cute little Santa, Herman. I did this layout for her earlier this year, and it was published in the latest issue of the norwegian magazine "Vi Scrapper". Want to thank everyone so much for the kind words that you've left here in my blog, and for all the support, and inspiration.

In my mail today I got the most fantastic handmade present I've ever received. My friend Mo9ca sent me her amazing Papirdesign advent calendar. I've seen pictures of it in her blog, stunning piece of work, so I knew allready. But when I got to see it live, while unpacking - I could'nt hold my tears back, so I cried a "river" or even a "fjord"... Happy tears! You completely made my birthday girl!

First of all - to everyone leaving a comment and attending my blogcandy drawing - THANK YOU SO MUCH for being so loving and kind-hearted. I've read every comment at least twice, and I've visited most of your blogs. Rigth now I'm out of words, but I'll catch up this evening. Promise!

Made this card and matchbox, this weekend. Inspired by love. Among other papers I've used the new flocked paper from the MM Paperie series. Have a look in the Papir i hjertet Card gallery and Godt gallery to see the rest of my supply lists.

Last nigth, Mona and I, were in concert at Sentrum Scene, listening to "Bo Kaspers Orcester". What an adventure!! We both love their music and their charming attitude - so to see them live was a great experience! *dancing girls*

Currently at work in Oslo, but catching a train to Skien in a couple of hours. Papir i hjertet moves from Porsgrunn to Skien this weekend, and I'll head down to assist in removing, and the re-opening this upcoming monday.

A card for every occasion!

Started making cards about a year ago, thanks to a challenge from Hilde! But did'nt know what I know now - about making cards for almost every occasion. This has become great ability for me to express gratitude. It's so much delight in this way of appreciating friends.

The first card over, is kind of special. I made it for my bestfriend Mona. We're travelling together to the US, January 2009. Arriving at Miami Int Airport 10th, and the 11th we leave from Fort Lauderdale; to the Caribbien!!! One week vacation, scrapbook classes, sun tanning, wine at the balcony while watching the sunset...and so on. After the cruise we go by plane to California, picking up a car at LA Int Airport, and head for San Fransisco, Las Vegas and Gran Canyon, before we finish off in Anaheim, attending the winter CHA 25-28th, among other things we've signed up for a Tim Holtz class there :) Definitely gonna keep you posted on our 20 day long trip!

Inside the card I wrote a poem for Mona, mostly about how I experience her positive influence on me, but also "explaining" the many skills that I admire about her. Papers used, patriotic themed in american colors, are from Melissa Frances.

Another Happy Birthday Card, can't never ever get enough of them. This one is with glitter paper from My Mind's Eye.

We went live with a new release on the card administration system at work last night. My little one has got a fever, and a sore throat today, so we're both at home just relaxing! Tomorrow, finally, heading for Trondheim! Got to get organized, will be away for a week this time.

This august our little family, and my best childhood friend Julie, had a week vacation in Spain, La Manga. Lazy days at the beach, just relaxing. We all enjoyed the trip, and Vetle nearly stroke root in Mar Menor. *lol* Papers are from My Minds Eye , Just Dreamy 2 line. I made this layout last night, and uploaded it to the Papir i hjertet November gallery. Pictures was taken last weekend at the DesignerCrop.

Over the past four and a half months I've lost nearly 30 kilos, just by changing my diet, and starting training again. But tiny little changes in my lifestyle startet allmost a year ago, when I was so lucky to get to know my best friends ever, Mona. You have been absolutely fantastic, supporting and challenging me, watching my small steps, observing how I develop - and grow, and at the same time decrease in size. Our friendship is special, you will allways have your own place in my heart.

Been thinking about something from time to time, is'nt it just great how people just appear in your life, when you need them? I have lots of friends, colleagues and family supporting me in their own way - and I'm thankful for every one of you! You all make this, my new path, much easier to follow. My fiancé, Tor Henrik has been amazing, allowing me to focus on myself, supporting me, beeing understanding and allways giving me enough space to do this my way. I'm not sure I could do this, at this time, without the help that I've gain from people that are close to me. Last night I felt extremely thankful because of this.

In a couple of weeks I'll attend a researchproject class at St.Olavs hospital in Trondheim, dealing with overweight, diet and training. My first goal now is to be a part of this project. Watch me!

We celebrated Christmas Eve last year together with TH's family. This layout shows our son and nephew - both pretty happy, after having Santa over for a visit :) *lol* You'll find this layout in the Christmas gallery over at Papir i hjertet.

Today I've been, and still are on my way home from the east side to the west side of Norway. Been spending time with the other designers of the Papir i hjertet designteam, Hjertelaget, this weekend. Just croppin', laughing, been in consert listening to old fashion super cool gypsy music, shopping, singing karaoke in a bar - in the middle of the night. I did my version of Tore Tang, sober as a duck. Mona and Trine completely sat the place on fire, with their crazy version of Mamma Mia. Then more laughter, breakfast in store, more croppin' - and so on - we even went out for dinner one night. Thanks to Kristin for allways bringing THE one and only Papir i hjertet cake to our events!! And THANKS to Mona, for having all of us for the whole weekend.

Yes, I'm a teatcher. Well, if I can call myself that after having my fist card class this weekend over at Papir i hjertet. Some happy tears run down my face when I got some time alone rigth after my class. It was such a relief ;) Thanks a bunch to everyone attending, making this whole event so special for me. And thank you all for your positive feedback! But most of all, and most important - Thank you so much Mona for your faith in me.

Attended the crop in Ålesund saturday night. Finally I got to say hi to Marion - such a sweet and warmhearted girl. Also very nice to meet Inger and Kristin again. Thank you so much for a well organized crop and for beeing so hospitable. I'll be back next time :)

Now heading for Ålesund, to attend crop over there tonight. Got to get organized! Btw. Next weekend the place to be is over at the crop at Papir i hjertet, in Porsgrunn (norwegian). Back from Versailles and Paris

Got home from an amazing trip to Versailles and Paris this thursday. Many thanks to my room mates for the whole week, Mona and Kjersti for excellent company. We spendt the first four days in Versailles attending the Paper and Co Show (PACS), lots of classes. I made this layout under during the week. Inspired by Vicky's ink class.

The last four days, we went to Paris. Stayed in a nice hotel, and walked around to see the most important places in town, for us. Eiffel Tower, Montmarte, Sacre Coeur, Louvre, The Latiner Quarter, Notre Dame, La Fayette - and so on. Unfortunately I forgot my CF card at work this friday, so I have no picutres of my own to share... but I stole this ones from Cecilie; shows most of the norwegian group, and a photo of me attending the crop, both at PACS.

This picture under I got from Helle; shows Kjersti, Mona and me along Caroline Peeler from Melissa Frances. We attended her Collage Basics class. Really fun class!

Some of us even got to see the famous Chateau de Versailles during the weekend. I got this pic from Oddbjørg.
